Worship

"You shall worship the Lord your God, and God only shall you serve."
(Luke 4:8)

Our common life centers around praising God, because worship and prayer are central to our purpose and mission as Christians. Our worship blends traditional Presbyterian elements with exciting events contributed by the Worship Group including liturgical dance, dialogue sermons, African music and drumming. We proclaim the gospel through word and music, and receive God’s grace through the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.

We invite you to worship with us at...

•11am Sundays (10am from Memorial Day to Labor Day)

•We gather around the Lord's Table (communion) on the 1st Sunday of each month

•"Lent'n Soup" suppers are held during the 40 days before Easter and special Advent services lead up to the celebration of Christmas and are noted on our Welcome Page.

We invite you to join us for coffee and fellowship immediately following Sunday worship.

Music

The music program at RPPC consists of an adult choir, special soloists and instumentalists led by Mary Claire Cadieux, Music Director and Dale Roeschley, Church Musician. Sharing our musical talents has been a tradition of RPPC for many years. The adult choir sings music from "Ambrosius to Zulu", incorporating the rich diversity of traditions that our congregation represents.

The choir welcomes new voices and invites all who are interested to attend rehearsals on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 and Sunday mornings at 10:15.

Talented soloists, both instrumental and vocal, augment many of the services. If you are interested in the music program, please email or call the church at (773) 262-3667.
